Just got done dealing with Cigna Health Insurance Claims, had to battle everyday for coverage we were supposed to get, and I mean battle, on the phone everyday for 4hours a day. We are supposed to have very good insurance, and they did not want to pay for anything. Now getting claims, on things that were finally covered and told they are not covered. What a nightmare!!!!!!!!!! Customer service horrible, and cannot get a straight answer.. |

One of the worst health insurance providers around. They routinely disqualify claims - stating that other insurance coverage may be in place for family members. Odd, since I carry family coverage through them for my entire family. Regularly get invoices from care providers due to Cigna either claiming they never got an invoice (in 1 case it was sent 5 times); their claiming other coverage may be in place; or spending more in paperwork and time than amount due (once under $2.00).... |

Not happy with their customer service or practices. We have had every bill paid fine except a $8K surgery bill....now they deny us and delay it....tomorrow my husband is taking it to his work's H.R. department.. |

Today, Dec 18, 2009, I received a letter telling me a procedure from Sept 2008 is not covered. I don't even have this insurance anymore. If they didn't cover it then they should have made that determination in 09. It took them over a year to decide this and mail me a letter out of the blue? It seem there should be a statute of limitations for them to contact you about a claim they don't feel they should pay. If it wasn't covered I should of been informed of that so i could decide whether to have the procedure preformed.. |

Cigna is THE worst health insurance. They care nothing about the individual and treat you as a NOTHING. Their only concern is profits. It's been total aggravatiom with Cigna. They represent the worst of corporate America. If you have a choice to pick another health insurance please do so. If you have no choice like me due to your employer only offering this "bottom of the barrel" insurance I'll pray you don't have any serious illness because if you do GOD HELP YOU. Cigna is garbage.. |
